Digital Marketing Manager

Job Description:
Lead digital marketing strategy and execution for Red Bull Canada communications, sports, culture and brand properties. Develop digital marketing programs across a range of digital channels/tactics that deliver on Red Bull Canada digital, marketing and event marketing program goals. Integrate digital marketing specific objectives into communications, culture, sport, brand and event programs delivering broader (# of subscribers/fans) and deeper (frequency of engagement) connections with Red Bull consumers and potential Red Bull consumers.
Activities to include: Collaborate with communications, culture, sports and event marketing teams, digital peers, and agencies to design effective digital experiences (websites, social media programs, communications, video content, and more) for Red Bull marketing campaigns. Close collaboration with other Red Bull Canada departments, global and US teammates to ensure quality experience and organization of content on redbull.ca and redbull.com. Work with social media leads to integrate Red Bull content into Red Bull social channels. Lead digital marketing for regional, national and international programs at Red Bull Canada.
These duties collectively should ensure that Red Bull’s digital work contributes to our position as a credible, organic, valuable member of culture, sports and consumer playgrounds where we participate. Initiatives must demonstrate increasing effectiveness in delivering against marketing objectives. In addition, programs should achieve the objective of ensuring growth of Red Bull’s subscriber/fan base and increasing consumer engagement as demonstrated by meeting impression and interaction goals of digital programs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Digital marketing professional with at least 5 years of experience
• Consumer or lifestyle brand marketing experience
• Editorial sense (Being the digital “Editor in Chief”)->content and story developer with specific skill in digital communications and in marketing/distribution.
• Digital marketing: demonstrated ability to innovate and to measure success with analytics
• Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus
• Demonstrated skill leading diverse teams without direct authority. Experience managing external agencies.
• Self directed. Able to create plans, execute, and achieve results with little specific direction.
• Natural entrepreneurial instinct and ability to succeed in variety of situations and political environments
• Excellent planning and project management competencies
• Strong connection to Red Bull playgrounds and established success working within them.
